A. Spall repairs Koko Isle Bridge Hawaii Kai

Spalls chipped out. Concrete and rebar cleaned by power wire brushing. Exposed rebar treated with "Extend" rust neutralizing coating.

Voids coated with epoxy bonding agent and filled with Thorite Rapid Vertical patching cement. After cure surfaces were finish coated with "Profinish" cement wash.

Clear finish resin applied to create a finished, seamless epoxy terrazzo floor. Looks just like a granite slab.


C. King St. Union 76 Service Station.

D. Replaster and recoat of Dillingham Fountain, Waikiki.

Entire fountain water blasted with 20,000 psi super high pressure to remove existing scaling cement and old coatings. We then replastered the entire fountain with Thoroseal waterproofing cement.

Pool was then coated with many coats of Ramuc underwater epoxy coating.


E. Strucutral cracking to Waikiki High Rise buttress.

Cracks were cleaned by water blasting and compressed air dried. Propoxy 300 epoxy surface sealer goes over the cracks with plastic ports drilled in at intervals. Cracks injected with Propoxy 100 injection resin until filled.

Buttresses pick up severe tower loads requiring a high strength repair like epoxy injection to provide a full depth weld.

Sandstone concrete is very porous allowing extensive moisture penetration into the structure causing large scale rebar rusting and resulting spalling.

Because the sandstone cement is so porous repairs are coated with a matching acrylic coating to keep future moisture out.


H. Marco Polo apartments water bridge.

Bridge structure was meant to provide a decorative pond sculpture where high tide waters would flow through concrete channels. However, the channels had too much rebar close to the concrete surface.

Salvaged steel plantation tanks dug out of the ground. Tanks were tar coated to protect from rust.

J. Kalakaua Bridge major restoration, Waikiki

Hundreds of square feet of spalls on total face of building. Hundreds of ceiling cracks were filled with epoxy and clear coated. Work accessed by hanging scaffolding. Spalls filled with Thorite Rapid Vertical cement.

K. Tunnel wall leaks, Schofield Barracks fresh water pump station.

Access to pump chambers is over one quarter mile under ground. Chambers accessed by miners car on train tracks. Pumps are just above Oahu’s Aquifer. Leaks are under severe pressure due to weight of water pushing against chamber walls many hundreds of feet below ground. This kind of epoxy injection requires high pressure pumps.
